Andrew Toplack 

Known to the Toronto bartending community as the Patron Saint of Bartending, Andrew is a retired physician and cocktail aficionado. A fervent advocate for the Toronto bartending scene, he co-founded Bartender Appreciation Night and The Bartenders Benevolent Fund with Jonathan Humphrey. Since March 2017, Andrew has curated The Toplack Sessions, a bi-weekly series of educational seminars designed for and led by Toronto's bartending and hospitality professionals. Often humorously referring to himself as a "professional customer," he remains deeply committed to fostering growth and camaraderie within the industry. Andrew and Derek have partnered to bring about a revival of genever as a historic and important spirit on cocktail menus and they work together to bring high quality spirits to the bar community.
