Native yeasts, 30% whole cluster, unfixed, unfiltered. Aged for 8 months in 15% new French oak. The vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 25% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed. 2021 was mercifully uneventful, a welcome change! A warm but moderate growing season led to cool, even temps during harvest, allowing us great tannin ripeness at low alcohol. A lighter crop provided bright acid and vibrant perfume, giving us what we feel is a classic vintage. "Savoury red fruit and pomegranate paired coastal salinity, floral elegance and dried herb. With uplifting structure and finesse, this is a crowd pleaser."
