Roughly 95% Zinfandel, 5% Petite Sirah. This wine is a blend of vineyards spanning the Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley: El Diablo, Grist and Lumberyard vineyards. Native fermentation, unfitness, unfiltered, unsorted. Aged in neutral French oak barrique. Winery note: "A savoury nose of dried berry compote, herbs, pepper, purple flower potpourri and crushed stone. This beauty is complete with subtle notes of sweet red and blue berries, tobacco and brown butter."

About the producer

A relatively new project for winemaker Ehren Jordan (previously of Turley, currently making Failla) entirely dedicated to Zinfandel. The wines have fantastic purity of fruit, old vine concentration and a lightness of touch from a Zin master. (Ryan Woodhouse - K&L Wine Merchant). With Zinfandel roots dating back to the 1990s, Ehren Jordan is a true vigneron, with decades of experience in the cellars and vineyards of the Rhone Valley, Paso Robles, Sonoma County, Napa Valley and beyond. His obsessive hands-on farming practices and minimalist hands-off winemaking approach come through in every bottle- allowing site, variety and vintage to shine through.
