All the Right Grapes

We like wine and spirits for the same reasons you do: and so we bring products that we are passionate about, that over-deliver and that are a joy to drink and share. In a crowded market place we stand out because of our focus and commitment to our producers and our customers.

We are based in Toronto and we service the Ontario and Manitoba markets. We make it easy for our wines and spirits to get to you. Please look at our portfolio and we would love to hear from you and discuss your preferences and needs.

There is nothing we like better than to talk to you about wine!

Derek Kranenborg

During 20 years in financial services in several countries, it was in Spain over Sherry and Rioja that the wine bug finally took hold. After leaving the financial world in 2008, Derek briefly worked at the LCBO as a buyer and then joined The Vine and Cave Spring Cellars. In 2016 Derek took the leap to start his own agency, based on his love of Sherry and Spanish wine and then the portfolio expanded from there.  Derek holds the WSET Diploma and he is a Certified WSET Educator. Other credentials include ‘Official Sherry Educator” (Consejo Regulador DO Sherry), Spanish Wine Educator and French Wine Scholar. The wines in our portfolio are all personal favourites and made by friends who share a common passion for wine, food, terroir, low intervention and care for the vineyard and the environment.

Alex Klip

Alex is a collector and enthusiast of great wine, and throughout a career of 25 years in corporate real estate he was able to gain in-depth knowledge of fine wine, with a keen interest in very old vintages. Alex sees himself foremost as a consumer of good wine, and it is this trait that informs his approach to selecting products for All The Right Grapes and its clients; hence he seeks wines that excel in the price/quality proposition, and wines that are wonderful examples of their respective appellations and traditions. Alex joined as a partner in 2017.

Patrick Habchi

Sales - Toronto

Patrick’s first experience with wine began 6 years ago while working in a restaurant in Ottawa, an experience that opened his eyes to a wide world of wines. Patrick continued furthering his experience and knowledge working as a sommelier in some of the most highly regarded restaurants in Ottawa and Toronto. Patrick believes great people make great wines and All The Right Grapes represents the very best combination of that: great old-school winemakers and the new-age vignerons who followed in their footsteps. Patrick’s current favourite is the wine from Montecastro from Ribera del Duero, the type of wine that reminds him, why he loved Spanish wine in the first place. You can reach Patrick at

Matt Choma

Private Client Sales – Cottage Country

Matt trained as a chef and is a former restauranteur. Wine resonates as a symbol of hospitality, community and enjoyment and the portfolio gives him an opportunity to further explore these things with so many interesting wines that are connected to some of the best culinary and culturally rich regions of the world. When tasting a new wine, Matt always thinks about what interesting food pairing would go with that wine. For instance, a favourite pairing would be Honorio Rubio’s Lias Finas served with a crab salad with shaved fennel and green apple in a Meyer lemon vinaigrette. You can reach Matt at
